Temporary Traffic Management Worker (TTM Worker)
One Day Course
Wanting to get into the traffic control industry, or have staff who interact with traffic control frequently? TTM Worker gives an excellent entry level introduction to the TTM industry.
Qualification: This is NOT a Waka Kotahi TTM warrant role but is a pre-requisite to the TMO qualification. There is a unit standard for this role which is completed during this workshop:
US 31958: Level 3, 5 credits. Explain the role of and operate as a TTM worker on the worksite under temporary traffic management.
Attendees will be issued with a certificate and a wallet sized card to carry on site upon successful completion of this course.

The TTM Worker course is the first step working in a TTM crew under a TMO or STMS. It consists of in class learning, practical mentoring in a controlled environment and a practical assessment on the live road. |

No prerequisites are required to do TTM Worker. |
COURSE DURATION: |

Eight hours Course Outcomes: • Understand the role and responsibilities of a TTM worker. • Know the correct PPE to be worn at a worksite, • Understand the layout for a TTM worksite, • Understand what a traffic management plan (TMP) is and what it is for |
